The Rundown – 5.25.10

Ms. Details Aight people I know I’ve been M.I.A., so let’s do a quick rundown of the past two weeks goings on… Let’s go!

So, news came out on May 12th that Delonte West of the Cleveland Cavaliers was having a love affair with Gloria James, the mother of his teammate LeBron “King” James. At first the allegations were to said to be unfounded, but then four days later they were confirmed by inside sources to definitely be true (go here to get the real scoop —> http://www.terezowens.com/exclusive-shocking-details-emerge-in-gloria-jamesdelonte-west-scandal/). First of all, in my opinion, this has to be the dumbest and most scandalous shit I’ve ever heard and been witness to in the media (there are probably other things that have gone on in the past, but I’m focused here right now). Ms. Gloria, how in the world do you, as a mother, sleep with your own son’s co-worker??? I mean I know how the deed goes down, but really?? Of all the damn men in the world you choose someone that has to see your son on a daily basis. Now I understand why LeBron’s playoff appearance looked so shabby… I wouldn’t have been able to concentrate either because I would have wanted to literally strangle Delonte with my bare hands… I mean that is just nasty… ya’ll both are DEAD ASS wrong!! And Delonte ain’t even cute Ms. Gloria… SMFH… Geesh

Evelyn from Basketball wives has become my new SheRO! She single handedly spiced the show up by throwing not one cup, but two cups of water on that stalker chick Vanessa Davis. In addition to the water, throwing both cups too!!! And she took it back to the BX and let her know that it’s about to be on… I can’t wait for the follow-up to that catfight. That was the highlight for me for the last two weeks. We already know that Royce is still an airhead (Still SMH @ Dwight for that one), Jen’s gotta make a decision whether or not to stay with Eric (I say stay, but do you #ImJustSayin), Gloria is in la-la land with her boo Matt (rolling my eyes) and Suzie is just being Suzie (I luv her swag by the way)… stay tuned for more drama to come

I think that Chilli has finally let her guard down and it now open to finding love again because she is using her heart and not her head (Yay! No more checklist!). Although I’ve never dated a white dude, I’m starting to be open to the possibilities cause you just never know… look at where it’s going with her… she’s definitely on the right track and I’m back to be interested in this show again…

Last but certainly not least, Brandy and Ray J… Nothing new and exciting going on there… Ray J made up for his childish behavior by planning Brandy a real nice birthday weekend … but he’s still, in my opinion, an ass… it’s getting kinda dry now, hopefully they will kick it back up a notch in the next few weeks…

BET Awards 2010 Nominations revealed

jay-z_5751The nominees for the 2010 BET Awards were announced today (May 18) in New York City and Jay-Z received the most nods.

Hovis in the running in four (4) categories including Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, Best Collaboration for “Empire State of Mind” with Alicia Keys, Video of the Year for “Run This Town” and “Empire State of Mind,” and Viewer’s Choice. Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Trey Songz and Melanie Fiona follow Jigga Man with four (4) each.

Young Money (The whole team) got a total of eight (8) nominations if you include Drake’s three individual nominations and the two Nicki Minaj received on her own. Drake will go head to head against Jay-Z, Fabolous, Ludacris and rookie B.o.B for Best Male Hip-Hop artist. His Young Money label-mate Nicki Minaj will go against Lil Kim, Rasheeda, Trina, and Ester Dean for the Best Female Hip-Hop artist.

Diddy and Queen Latifah, this year’s host of the BET Awards, were on hand at the press conference to announce some of the nominees. Diddy also announced that they’re hosting a huge, televised after-party and countdown to the release of his upcoming LP Last Train to Paris, that will take place directly after the awards show.

This year’s show, which will be broadcast live on June 27 from Los Angeles will feature special performances by Diddy-Dirty Money, Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj, Drake and more to be announced. VH1 Reality Wrap-up! POW! #ThereItIs – 5.10.10

Ms. Details I know, I know… ya’ll wondering where the hell I was last week… Hell I don’t even know… but I’m back now… What’s good people!!! I’m SMDH at the foolishness that ensues on VH1 on Sunday night… for those of you who don’t know text lingo… that means Shaking My Damn Head (get a text dictionary if you need more…). But I gotta say a quick “Thank you” to Chris Abrego (VH1’s reality TV Producer extraordinaire) for providing me with something to talk about… and not just today, EVERYDAY… That’s right, we talk about this mess all week… Still SMDH… We gonna recap from last week to this week, so Let’s go!

Well it finally happened last Sunday, I lost ALL respect for ya boy Ray J and officially enrolled his ass in “Bitchassness University”! And to think I really liked this dude’s swagger… Now I’m asking myself how in the hell is anyone taking this dude seriously… He’s a celebrity only because of his sister and his penis is the ONE thing he used which catapulted his ass out of her shadow (yeah, I said it)… I mean you saying you ‘ARE THE BUSINESS’… PLEASE… Stop the ride, I wanna get off… He comes to work late and drunk, his whack ass crew (who uses “crew” anymore unless you are going on ABDC on MTV) sends a stripper to the job and he’s okay with that… How childish are we… Sonja, you might wanna re-think who you are mad at, cause your son is a walking, functioning DUMB ASS!!! Brandy aka Brand Nu is trying to do her thing and make a comeback and surprisingly I was impressed with her performance at the House of Blues with Timbaland, but of course that bumbling idiot of a brother of hers gets all the focus… A damn mess… Ray J… GROW THE FUCK UP… And then when I watched it yesterday, it was painfully clear that Brandy was right about the way her mom treats her versus the way she treats Ray J… Its blatant FAVORITISM! Maybe this is the reason why this dude is the way he is cause he’s still stuck on Sonja’s breasts! I really felt for Brandy cause she was saying some real shit to her mom/manager and her mother wasn’t even listening cause she was being so defensive… I’m glad that her dad was able to make her feel like she wasn’t crazy… then put Sonja’s ass in her place… Sonja… shut the hell up for a minute and listen to what Brandy, your daughter (not the artist) is saying… Damn!

And here we go again with the plastic surgery chick… how in the hell does she just show up while you are eating and then cause a damn scene… That bitch should have gotten that bath two weeks ago at the party… cause what you NOT gonna do is keep talking about how Jen’s husband feels and what you saw him do and whatever else… that’s just not real… Thanks Suz… I needed Jen to smack her ass, but you was the closest, so I’m good now… Oh and let me know when she “sees you in the streets” Who yells that shit anymore… I was a little disturbed this week when they all ganged up on Gloria… I’m feeling a little HATERATION going on there… Royce should be the LAST one talking shit cause somebody don’t wanna be associated with her ass (that’s why Gloria beat that ass..LOL)… she seems like a really annoying ass person and I wouldn’t want her ass around me either… she slides on the slippery slope all day long… yeah I said it… Who gone check me BOO!!

I don’t have too much to say about Chilli cause I was really over her foolishness last week, but she actually broke down in counseling yesterday and maybe, just maybe she’ll be able to find someone… She’s a pretty woman and has a lot going on for her, but she’s gotta deal with the past in order to go forward… So we’ll see… Alright, that’s all I got for this week and last…see disclaimer below… #ImJustSayin
