Jay-Z takes shots at LL Cool J??? I sure hope not but judge for yourself…
As I stated before, LL is #1 All-Time to me because of his longevity and consistent record of hits…BUT I believe that as of now, Jay Z is #1 because he has been doin it for 12 years straight and has changed the game like no other…I love ’em both…Anyway…

Jay-Z feels that the real way to stay in the game is to stay true to who you are as a rapper and not try to make “young songs.”

As a fan of both, I don’t think that was a shot at LL. He makes a valid point. I’m sure the male ego will take it as a shot, especially being that there’s no love lost between the two. But he couldn’t really make that point without mentioning LL because he’s the only other rapper to come even close to Jay’s career.
